Join us for a wonderful evening celebrating Pride Month and the amazing book, Out in Architecture, sponsored and hosted by HMC!

Out in Architecture is a collection of reflections by LGBTQIA+ individuals within and adjacent to the field of architecture.

Ranging from identity within and beyond practice to reclaiming space and redefining systems, these essays for a cache of struggle, celebration, hope, and wisdom - while aiming to propel conversation into action and institutional change. This effort is in part by organizations such as Pride by Design, which we are excited to work with!

We will be hearing from contributing authors Amy Karn and Bz Zhang in conversation with Ismaelly Pena and Lilliana Castro on the queer experience and living as your authentic self in architecture and design.

We will have some networking time, with a panel discussion and book signing by the authors.
